                    Screen Printing Steps

Step 1: What do you want on your garment? Where do you want it printed on the garment? How many colors are involved in your design?

Step 2: After you, the customer, have approved all of the artwork, film positives are digitally produced. From the film positives, one screen is produced for each color to be imprinted.

Step 3: After the screens are made, a test print is then made to check the quality and accuracy of the print.

Step 4: The shirts are printed, run through a conveyor dryer to cure the ink into the shirt, inspected, then boxed to be sent to you.

                    Cost Of Raw Materials

We would like to share with you the current challenges in the promotional apparel market and why you might be seeing increased prices in our industry. Because promotional apparel is globally sourced, various factors influence the cost of a promotional product:
                    • Raw material costs (i.e. cotton, polyester, nylon, etc.)
                    • Inflation in developing countries
                    • Duties and tariffs
                    • Labor costs
                    • Foreign exchange rates
                    • Transportation costs
                    • Non-market costs
These factors, of course, do not affect every product in the same way, and suppliers also have many ways that they can help control prices. Nonetheless, current pricing is being affected by two primary factors: raw material and labor costs. Raw material costs have been rapidly increasing over the last several years. Taking cotton as an example, this chart illustrates this dramatic increase over the last five years.
